Or buy it from the Alcopop Store. You can even get a T shirt. It's got a Wiccan and a Beatlemancer riding a tandem bike on the front. Sassy.
Wiccans & Beatlemancers is the tale of four young men fighting their way through academia, fancy dress parties and unsympathetic Cardiff city councillors, or: how I learned to stop worrying and love them postgraduate blues.
We made this record with guitars, drums and dry wit in a community centre, a drugs den and an attic in Grangetown. This, we acknowledge, is obvious.
Wiccans and Beatlemancers differs from the last EP in that we hired a clean scented man called Oli to record our instruments and mouthparts with no extra reverb, sonically maintaining our unintentionally wonky playing whilst adding some Polish. And it’s more polished.
Though flung across the globe, dried out little pieces of each one of us will always reside in Cardiff: in the basement of the physics department, 6am Ramones, flailing student union charity gigs, dueling in Roath Country, chilling with our Mamas, in that flat above the brothel on City Road.
We loved writing these songs and genuinely hope some of you enjoy what we’ve made.
